New Regional Badge Proposals - 18-09-2008

At their meeting last night, the Regional Scout Council considered three potential designs for a Regional badge for Clyde Region.

The meeting agreed that the views of both adults and young people in Groups and Districts across the Region be sought between now and Friday 10 October 2008.

The three possible designs are as follows:

If you have any comments about any of the designs, please email them to gary.bainbridge@clydescouts.org.uk.

Over the next couple of days, a letter will be sent to all GSLs, Group Contacts, Explorer Scout Leaders and District Scout Network Leaders, inviting them to consult with the young people and adults in their Group or Unit and tell me, which badge is their preferred option, by 12noon on Friday 10th October.

I will then compile the responses and review them with the Regional Commissioner and Regional Chairman and we will make a final decision, based on the feedback that we receive.
