Local Development Officer
Starting Salary of £24,000 rising to £26,460
by 2 annual increments, subject to satisfactory performance.
Clyde Regional Scout Council has responsibility for supporting local Scouting in its 8 geographical Districts.
The Region has been successful in securing funding for an exciting, 3 year development project to grow Scouting. During the life of the project we plan to grow the youth and adult membership of the Movement, promote Scouting widely across the Region, create a positive internal and external perception of Scouting's image and create a sound basis for the future development and operation of Scouting across the Region.
As our Local Development Officer, you will play a key role in helping us to realise these aims.
You will need an exceptional ability to ensure projects are managed and delivered on time and within cost. You will also have the ability to motivate and develop volunteers, work well with other people and be prepared for some unsocial hours of working.
In essence, you will be a highly organised and motivated individual who enjoys and can manage a varied and challenging workload, with a passion for the development of young people.
Application is by submission of your CV with a covering letter. Please ensure that in your covering letter, you provide a statement as to why you believe you are suitable for the role and what you believe you could bring to the post.
