Getting your Group Online! - 20-05-2012

With UK Headquarters announcing the release of a Wordpress theme for Scout Groups, Clyde Region are delighted to announce that our Web Hosting service is now open for business. Having been tested by volunteers to gauge ease of use and levels of support required, we can now open up clyderegion.net to all Groups, Units and Districts in Clyde.

If you would like a free, on brand website set up, simply go to clyderegion.net and create a new account. Your application will be reviewed by a member of the Communications team and will then be set up for you.

We can install any of the themes from Chris at iScout4Wordpress for you, simply state which you want in the order notes. If you would like your account left blank to set up your own system then don't mention anything in the order Notes and the account will be left blank.

If you want a yourgroup.clyderegion.net web address then enter it directly into the form. We can also support your own domain names that you can purchase for around £6 from various domain outlets online.

If you have any questions about this project then please contact Gavin Holt, Assistant Regional Commissioner (Communications) and clyderegion.net System Admin.
