Have you completed your Queen's Scout Award within the last year? - 18-02-2012
UKHQ is delighted to announce that Her Majesty the Queen, accompanied by His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh, will be taking the review at the annual scout service and parade at Windsor Castle on Sunday 29 April. A number of scouts from around the Commonwealth will also be present to mark the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.
If you have completed your Queen's Scout award within the last year, you are eligible to attend and have to apply to attend the event. Online application is required at www.scouts.org.uk/windsor-qsa by 25 March 2012.
Invitations have already been sent to everyone eligible to participate in the Scottish expedition to London that weekend. If you have not received your invitation, please contact SHQ.
Unfortunately, any applications received after the above date cannot be accepted. No Queen's scout will be admitted without first being registered at Gilwell Park. Queen's scouts will be contacted again in early April with full information about the event. Anyone who fails to apply this year can have their details held over until 2013. Anyone who is unsuccessful or who applies after the deadline can have their details held over until 2013.
Lower Ward tickets for outside the Chapel will be available by online application soon. They allow entry to the Lower Ward of the Castle where you'll be able to watch the Queen's scouts as they parade to and from St George's Chapel.
In the meantime, further event information is available at www.scouts.org.uk/windsor
