Can you help at the Commonwealth Games (age 14+)?

23rd July 2014 - 5th August 2014

2 hours to spare and keen to be part of the Commonwealth Games experience?

Scouts aged 14+ and leaders have the opportunity to help distribute water at some of the key transport hubs in the city during the Commonwealth Games.

Scouts aged 14-17 should sign up in pairs and be supported by a Leader and Scouts and Leaders 18+ can sign up individually or in pairs. You need to be available for a minimum of two hours and wear Scout identification (uniform or polo-shirt and scarf). You will be provided with a high-visibility vest and a full briefing will be provided nearer the time.

The initiative is being co-ordinated and funded by The Salvation Army, and follows similar programmes that saw 500,000 bottles distributed during the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics.

Why not offer part of a day as an Explorer Scout Unit or Leadership Team?

Interested and available between 23rd July and 3 August? – please send the dates and times you are available to commonwealth@scouts-scotland.org.uk
