Zero Hour - Shop Assistant - Glasgow Scout Shop

We are looking for a shop assistant for the Glasgow Scout Shop.
This would be a zero hour contract, where you can pick up shifts that suit you and the shop.
These could be midweek or Saturdays, which can fit around your studies or other commitments.
You would work within an amazing team at the Glasgow Scout Shop to ensure that orders are processed and sent out to Scouts across the UK.

You would work within an amazing team at the Glasgow Scout Shop to ensure that orders are processed and sent out to Scouts across the UK.
Your duties would include:
- Ensure customer orders are processed timeously and accurately.
- Provide first class customer service to our volunteers, parents and other customers.
- Process customer returns and exchanges same day.
- Ensure that all customer enquiries received by email, social media and telephone are quickly and timeously responded to.
- Monitor items going out of stock or where stock is delayed and keep customers advised of delivery times.
- Ensure that the whole area of the shop, the entrance and the display and storage areas are well maintained, tidy and organised.
- Where appropriate, play your part in the wider operations of the work of Clyde Scouts.
- Performing such other duties as are reasonably required.

- IT Experience
- Customer Service Experience
- Knowledge of Scouting
- Enthusiastic
- Ability to problem solve
- Enjoy working as part of a team
