Avondyke Clean Up Day
18th September 2010
Avondyke Training Centre is run entirely by volunteers from Clyde Region.
Situated on the outskirts of Stonehouse, South Lanarkshire it presents an ideal opportunity for Scouting to provide an exciting, challenging and imaginative residential experience for young people.
In order to keep the building in a good condition and ready for Groups from across the Region and further afield, there are 2 work weekends a year at the Centre and we would like your help.
The next work day is on Saturday 18th September and we are looking for adults from across Clyde Region to come and give up a couple of hours to help with basic maintenance and cleaning tasks that day.
Could you help with:
- Cleaning floors
- Washing windows
- A 'kitchen blitz'
- Weeding
- Paining
- Slab laying
- General site maintenance
If so, please get in touch with Karen Limond at avondyke@clydescouts.org.uk to offer your services.
