Managing Together

18th May 2014

THIS IS RESCHEDULED FROM FEBRUARY

Managing Together is a combination of online learning (part 1) plus a one day practical session (part 2).

The scheme has been accredited by the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework [SCQF] with 3 credit points at level 7.

Part 1 of the course is series of on-line modules covering a variety of subjects including safeguarding, safety in Scouting and administration. Part 2 covers the important areas of working with groups and managing people. Together they cover the learning for modules 11, 21 – 24 and 26 of the Scout Association training scheme. Module 25 is run separately as usual by the region.

To sign up for Part 1 please contact Ann Gordon, ARC(AT) who will arrange for you to receive a login name and password.  Part 1 can then be completed in your own time, and should take about 10 hours – although if you have a lot of experience you will probably be able to complete it quicker.

You must have completed Part 1 before you can attend Part 2.

Click here to register for part 2.

The closing date for registration is Friday 2nd May 2014.
