Hillwalking Permit Assessments

Clyde Region are offering T1 and T2 assessments for leaders interested in gaining the appropriate Scouting Permit to offer hillwalking to their sections. Auchengillan Outdoor Centre will be the base for the weekend with self-catering accommodation in the Providore building.
Assessment will start Friday evening and will be concluded mid-afternoon on Sunday.
This following links will give you information on hillwalking with Scouts and also the Adventurous Activity Permit Scheme.
Candidates will need to provide their own hillwalking kit suitable for the Scottish hills in November.
Please note there is a restriction of 12 people and booking will be closed 12noon Thursday 29th October.
The total cost of the weekend is £25 which is payable on booking.
